Get Creative And Win Tickets To See James Marsters In Concert in London

Valentine's Day is coming and James is heading to London for his first concert and personal appearance of 2010.

He will be playing at West London's Tabernacle on Saturday, February 6, and will perform new songs and old favourites in the venue's stylish, intimate surroundings.

The concert in the heart of fashionable Notting Hill will be the first music date for 2010 and you could be there.

We are offering people a chance to win a pair of tickets for this acoustic date.

To enter, just get creative and write a poem for James. After all, it's almost Valentine's.

It can be funny, serious, quirky or romantic and can be as short as four lines of sheer poetry or up to 14 lines if you fancy following in Shakespeare's footsteps with a sonnet.

Send entries along with your details to jmlive @ headlined CONCERT COMPETITION.

The best entries will be featured on James's official website so please include the name you would like attached to the poem. All entries must be original work. The closing date is Wednesday 27th January and the winner will be notified shortly afterwards. Please note travel and accommodation is not included in the prize.

If you want to be sure of your place, tickets for the concert cost £22.50 (plus booking fee) and are available from

Hey everyone.
Feeling tons better. I want to thank everyone who attended Hallowhedon for your concern and support, as well as, all who wrote in. It was a tough weekend, but I didn't want to disappoint - I'm glad I went, you all cheered me up. Looking forward to seeing you all in February at "Love Hearts". Steve says he's going to keep me bubble wrapped until then!

How to buy tickets

Updated: 19 Sep

Due to fan feedback, deadlines for the payment schedule for the "She Stoops to Conquer" Event have been changed to the following:

To purchase a ticket you will need to send a reservation email at 10:00 AM New York time to HIMBERENT@AOL.COM with the FULL NAME for each person requiring a ticket (maximum 4 persons per ticket email request).

You will received notification within 24 hours if you made the cutoff of the 75 available tickets. All tickets will be on a first come first served basis. A waiting list will also be taken.

A $50 USD non-refundable deposit will be due no later then the close of business (ie. mail delivery) on Saturday, October 3, 2009. You may pay by bank checks, cashier checks, American Express travelers check, money orders, etc. European fans may use travelers checks in USD. We cannot accept personal checks, debit cards, credit cards or paypal, because we are not set up for those. This portion is non-refundable because we must purchase the 75 seats from LA Theatre Works now and like all theatre tickets they are non-refundable. Specific details will be emailed to you with your notification.

The remaining $250 USD will be due no later than April 1, 2010. You may choose to pay it any time prior - we'll give you a receipt.

Those on the waiting list will be contacted Friday, April 2, 2010. Their payment schedule will require a somewhat accelerated payment schedule due to the limited time frame.

Terms & Conditions

All sales are final and are non-transferable without prior written approval. In the event that James Marsters is not able to participate in the performance, then a refund of $250.00 will be returned within 60 days. The non-refundable portion of $50 covers the ticket to the Saturday, June 19, 2010 performance of She Stoops To Conquer at the Skirball Center in Los Angeles.

If you require special seating or accommodations, you must identify so in your initial email. Please note that any handicap seating in the theatre is pre-designated and that we have no control over those locations.

BBC Radio Play

James will be going into the voice studio to work on the BBC radio production of Then We Came To The End by Joshua Ferris and adapted for radio by Jeff Young. Kate McAll will direct. The radio transmission is currently scheduled for Friday, December 11, 2009 at 14:15 on BBC Radio 4. We will post more details as we get them.

James is to play 'Charles Marlow' in the classic She Stoops to Conquer live onstage as part of the L.A. Theatre Works 2009-2010 season of play readings. She Stoops to Conquer will be presented the week of June 14, 2010 and broadcast at a later date on National Public Radio.

Himber Entertainment is planning a very special event for the weekend of June 19th/20th that will include tickets to the Saturday matinee performance and more for a group of 75. Full details will be released at a later time and we advise those who wish to attend not to finalize travel arrangements for the weekend until timings are announced nearer the date.

For those wishing to purchase tickets only (not attend the 'event' which will include your ticket), the box office will not have tickets available until September 15, 2009 [correction: previous date of September 14 was incorrect].
