2008 Work and Appearances
2008 is a busy year for James as he stars in Torchwood, films Dragonball, and prepares to visit the UK in May for his Waterfal Tour. James will also be appearing at Collectormania 13 in Milton Keynes, UK, in May.
James will also be appearing at the following conventions in 2008:

DRAGONBALL
James has been cast in Twentieth Century Fox's live-action adaptation of the hugely popular manga 'Dragonball'.
Justin Chatwin is starring as the hero while James Marsters will play the villain in the sci-fi adventure, which will be directed by James Wong. The movie has been penciled in for a worldwide release date of Aug. 15, 2008.

P.S. I Love You
James stars as John McCarthy in Warners Bros. 'P.S. I Love You' alongside Hilary Swank, Lisa Kudrow and Kathy Bates. Release date 21 December, 2007.
TORCHWOOD
James will be appearing in the first episode of the second series of Dr Who spin-off 'Torchwood'. The episode airs on the BBC in January 2008.
WITHOUT A TRACE
James has been cast in a recurring/guest star role on the hit CBS one hour drama Without A Trace.
He will portray 'Detective Mars', who is described as: mid 30s to 40. Attractive in a real way, a bright, full-of-life personality, charming, possibly from around the Washington DC area, so could have a slight southern accent. Mars is a Police Detective who has started to investigate what seems to be a ring of Human Trafficking. He has information our FBI team is interested in and comes to New York to speak to Vivian about what he knows. Eventually he will become part of a task force to deal with Human Trafficking. GUEST STAR, RECURRING ROLE.
The role films in both New York and Los Angeles. Once further information regarding air dates will be posted when available.
9 Sep: UPDATE
James will be appearing in episode one of the new season of 'Without a Trace', airing September 27 (USA). Originally James shot a later episode, but it would appear that the producers want to introduce his character sooner. James was recently interviewed by TV Guide about his appearance on the show, so be sure to look out for it.
SMALLVILLE
James returns as Prof Milton Fines / Brainaic in the episodes titled 'Persona, 'Veritas', 'Sleeper' and 'Apocolypse' ' in the newest season of Smallville.

James features in a cameo as Ted Bundy in 'The Capture of the Green River Killer'.
SUPERMAN DOOMSDAY
Superman Doomsday, available exclusively on DVD, was released September 18, 2007 featuring James as the voice of Lex Luthor.
DRESDEN FILES
James has been contracted to read his fifth book on tape in the Dresden Files book series. Although Death Masks is the next book in sequence, he will be recording Small Favor, which is the most recent in the series and, according to the Dresden Files website, due for release April, 2008. James will be in the studio later this month to begin the project. A new publishing company, Penguin Audio, has been hired to release the book. More details to be posted when available.
