Does James have a profile on myspace.com?

James is not involved in any online activity
except for providing his management the personal
messages and Q&A responses published on both of
his official sites, jamesmarsters.com and
jamesmarsterslive.com.
back
When is James
coming to "my country, my state, my city"?
This is by far his most commonly asked
question. James' events and concerts
are always subject to many and varied
considerations, so it's almost impossible for
him to ever answer this question, other than
with the noncommittal, but very sincere, "I'd
love to!" Rest assured that the minute an event
and destination are planned you will hear about
it here first!

What's the
latest on the Spike movie?
We have been told that Joss Whedon and 20th
Century Fox are exploring the idea of producing
further adventures of some of the characters
from “Buffy” and “Angel”. What exactly that
means, we honestly don’t know, because we are
not privy to those confidential conversations.
James and his representatives have expressed
his desire to revisit the character of ‘Spike’
if and when the powers that be are ready to do
so. Anything beyond expressing interest and
desire is really out of James’ and his
representative’s control. James continues to
enjoy all the interest and joy the character of
‘Spike’ seems to have brought to his fans and
thanks everyone for their continued support.
back
When
did he get the eyebrow scar?
When he was in college and living in
Astoria-Queens in New York City. While walking
home late one night after a bartending job a guy
came up to him. As James says, "he
just 'pasted' me
with some brass knuckles saying 'gimme your
money." James mouthed off to him, and then
proceeded to get "the heck beat out of me."
James has said that Todd McIntosh, the makeup
artist for Buffy, liked the scar and definitely
accentuated it for the role of Spike.
back
Is James' British accent on "Buffy" real?
No, James is actually from
California.
He faked the accent for the show.
back
When is his birthday?
James’ birthday is 8/20/1962.
back
Where can I send fan mail?
You can write to James via his fan mail address,
which can be found
here.
back
What is some of his favorite Spike dialog?
Unfortunately, his memory of doing Buffy was
to get the lines right and move on to the next
scene. With twenty hour days, and dumping the
previous day's memorization for the next one,
it's very difficult for him to come up with any
specific line. He has mentioned liking ‘he’s a
biig fluffy puppy with bad teeth.’
back
What is his
favorite color?
Green - "the color of mother earth."
back
What are some of his favorite musical
influences?
He has mentioned Kurt Cobain, Bruce Spingsteen,
Bob Dylan, Tom Waites, Miles Davis, and punk
rock in general, just to name a few. He has
frequently said he hears Joni Mitchell's
influence when writing his melodies.
back
Will he ever return to the theater?
He'd love to do serious theater, and he does
miss the live interaction with an audience.
However, he feels that LA is not the best
theater town, and his family responsibilities
have him tied to the west coast for the next 10
years or so, making the long time-commitment of
a play in other locations difficult.
back
What is his favorite book?
"Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness
of Crowds" written by Charles Mackay about 100
years ago. It's about the gullibility of people
throughout history, and what lengths they will
go to to try and beat the three things that
humans will never be able to avoid in their
lives -- toil, death, and ignorance of the
future. He finds that aspect of human nature
fascinating.
back
Did he have a favorite episode in Buffy?
The musical "Once More with Feeling." He thought
it was probably as good as any episode ever
produced on television. He was very proud to
have been a part of it.
back
Is it hard for him to sing on stage in front
of people?
He says it was scarier when performing with
Ghost of the Robot because he was singing other
people's lyrics that were not always in his
vocal range. But now he's more comfortable
performing since he is singing his own material.
back
Does he go online and visit all his websites
or read fanfiction?
He says that celebrity can be a toxic thing
psychologically and so avoids the seduction of
the internet. It's too easy to get puffed up
from all the nice things fans say about him, so
to stay grounded, he stays offline.
back
When did James start acting?
In fourth grade after performing as Eeyore in
"Winnie The Pooh." He found acting fun and that
he had a talent for it and was hooked from then on.
back
How does he go
about writing his songs?
He usually writes at night and at home. He has
said the chorus generally comes first, then the
verses. "The lyrics might come to me just as I’m
walking around and then I’ll try to find what
chords these are."
back
If forced to
choose between acting and music, which would it
be?
Acting. He loves it
and says, "I'm addicted to it." However they
are both important to him and he sees no reason
to ever have to choose between them. He enjoys
"having his cake and eating it too."
back
Does he play
any other musical instruments?
No, he doesn't.
back
James,
where in the world would you most like to visit
and why?
Half the places I visited aren’t as cool as I’d
hoped. Half of them are better, so it’s always
a potshot. I would like to visit Tibet. I
just don’t know if it will be as cool as I
expect it to be. I have high expectations of
Tibet.

Anything metal grinding on metal. Even small

Insurance Sales
