Antigone?  Oh yeah, easiest role in classical theater - Haemon.  Great role. You don't have to do anything - people think you're a great actor. You come in at the beginning and you have a love scene with Antigone. You just can't over-think it, it's got to be simple and nice and you can't do too much with it - can't really mess it up.  Then you come in in the second act and scream at dad, "I'm mad at you and you're gonna kill my girlfriend."  All you got to do is be mad and mean it.  And there's not a lot of levels, there's not a lot of interesting choices to make; it's not a complex scene. A twelve year-old could do this role. (clip)  And then, that's it!  You go read a newspaper in the green room and watch TV and then towards the end of the play, the chorus comes in and describes your ever-so heroic death; and they always have an older guy doing the chorus who does a really great job with that because that's the meat of his role. And he describes your incredible death. And you come out and people clap like maniacs! And you come out... (raises arms like receiving the applause)  I love that role!  A Cadillac role, it's one of the cadillac roles. JM.com 2007
