I'm very proud of that. An original play by Dawson Nichols, a one man play about an insane man who thinks he's Edgar Allen Poe and we spend a three hour period inside his brain.  I helped him cut it down from four and a half hours.  Actually, I think we got it in at about 2:40 in the end and it was incredibly successful.  We toured in around the country for years after we did that - we got known for that.  (clip) But I helped him stage it, I helped him light it, I helped him give it some visual panache and just some blocking notes to kind of help give it some structure, but I didn't direct it.  But I helped him edit it and I helped him shape it.
