Red Noses is a Peter Barnes play about the Black Plague and a man who goes insane and becomes a clown to try and cheer people up before they die.  I played one of two priests called flagellants, who beat their bodies raw to pay penance to God and stop the plague.  As an actor, I was covered in boils and glues and sticky substances and long fake hair that stuck to my mouth.  I was cold the whole time as I only had a loin cloth and I was stuck in Chicago.  JM.com 2007
