Victoria Station, what was that about... Oh yeah! Dawson [Nichols] was a controller, the radio guy, dispatcher basically and he is an abusive, lying, horrible man who is just ruining a taxi driver's life. (clip) The taxi driver is very innocent and sees everything in a positive way and there's nothing that the controller can do to ruin the taxi driver's day.  The taxi driver just refuses to go there and be evil and he's protected by his own goodness.   JM.com 2007

***
"A two-way radio conversation between a taxi dispatcher (Nichols) and a spacey cabbie (Marsters), it begins predictably but grows wilder and crazier by the moment. In the end, both men are enmeshed in irrationality - the manic underside of workaday banality."  Misha Berson · Seattle Times · January 12, 1994
